Led project to create a Spotify playlist database of 1700+ entries, streamlining distributor access to and knowledge of Spotify’s largest playlists.

Formulated and recommended new business solutions to executives, alongside fellow associates, in our capstone project showcase.

Utilized data tools, analyzed data, and wrote reports on Spotify key playlists, US and global charts, streaming performance, and more.

Participated in release planning meetings between Warner distributors and Spotify teams.

Managed digital marketing alongside project manager for 4 albums and 10 singles, by building one sheets and newsletters, pitching music to curators via SubmitHub, and preparing pre-orders on Bandcamp. 

Created content on social media for giveaways, releases, and playlist promotion using videos, photos, and collaborative posts on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook. Planned social engagement campaigns. 

Reviewed demos sent by artists, conducted artist research, and coordinated with label owners.

Fulfilled hundreds of international merchandise and wholesale orders of records, CDs, and merchandise.

KCRW 89.9FM

Reviewed music submissions from independent artists to major record labels and select songs for airplay and website coverage.

Created and wrote a semi-monthly series of articles, “The Best Music You Sent Us,” which spotlights 5 new artists who send music to KCRW. Write for the “Best Songs” and “Best Albums of 2021 So Far” articles.

Planned 14 weeks of programming for the “Private Playlist” show and assisted on interview recording.

Transcribed interviews and track lists from archived shows for KCRW’s “Bent By Nature” podcast.

Created release campaigns for upcoming music, which involved uploading and monetizing music on web stores and streaming services, encoding metadata, and creating posts on WordPress.  

Organized sheets with 12 years of metadata, update Fool’s Gold Weekly playlist, and field demo submissions from prospective artists.
